Description

 

The casing of each Armstrong Horizontal Split-case (HSC) fire pump is split at a 15° angle, utilizing a slanted parting design. This reduces turbulence near the impeller eye and increases efficiency. Additionally, the angled split maintains full alignment of the suction and discharge centerlines, making on-site pre-piping simple.
